Welcome to Unfortunately Sober

Sadly, these folks are not under any outside influences and their ridiculous talk of video games and general nonsense are their true feelings about said topics. And the fourth wall might as well not be there. (Updated hopefully once a week, but more like every once in a while)

Oh Boy

So, it's been over a month since the last comic update, and I really am sorry about that. I've really missed doing the comic recently, and it's only now that I've had a decent amount of time to work on it. As I mentioned, I've been doing this one on my Tablet, and although I've already trashed a few rough drafts of ink-work, the current iteration is coming along nicely. The comic is still far from being done, but it's getting work done on it.

It may still be a little longer until the comic is finally up, but I really appreciate your collective patience with me as I work through this. Thanks for your comments of support, I've still been seeing them, and I hope to get back to you with a real comic in the near future.

Sorry Everyone

Hey guys, I'm really sorry about the huge delays in comics here. I guess it's almost all my individual fault for not really committing time to comics or drawing ones that are reasonable in size and thus time consumption. However, life has been a little hectic for me recently, after work and other responsibilities have been crashing hard with school and finals.

However, second semester senior year has arrived. My schedule is now far easier than it once was and I should have more free time now. When tennis starts in the spring I may again run out of time, but school has been the main culprit against this comic so far, and it's dying out. YES.

Anyway, the comic is not really close to being done, but that's because I just started it and the script calls for a really massive drawing. I'm also going to try and ink this one with my new Wacom Tablet I received for Christmas, so that may take some extra time as well. Before the end of the week, maybe? I can't be sure, just start checking again in a few days.

George Lucas Got His Hands on the Sound FX Text

I'm a little later than what I said I would be, but that's later than what I originally said a long time ago. Let's pretend I'm on time and move on with our lovely lives.

What has been taking up so much of my free time will be shown next week. It's not a comic, but you'll get a link soon after it's done.

Hey Guys

Sorry it's been so long, but I've been swamped with a few other things that shouldn't be swamping me but somehow are. I've also been taking time to mess around with the Wacom Tablet I received for Christmas, but I won't start using it on comics just yet, I'm still getting used to it.

The comic itself is a long one, but should be up before the weekend is up at the latest.

Merry Christmas everyone! I didn't do a Christmas-themed comic because I ran out of time in all kinds of ways. I don't want to put up a late Christmas comic, so you won't see any of those out of me, but the next comic should be up in the next few days.

Secret Santa

The guest comic I did for doom Bubble is up now on the Secret Santa site here. As of this post, the fan art for my comic isn't up yet, but maybe it will be by the time you check.

Wow, That Smoke Basically Makes the Comic

Things that happened today on Unsober:

1. Fixed spelling mistakes of that one Tenacious D comic.

2. Put up new comic.

3. Updated Links page.

In conclusion, some serious stuff went down.

Hot Off the Press of the Daily Scribble

I knew I wouldn't have a lot of time to do the next comic for this week, so I looked through some of my written jokes and worked out a one-panel cartoon. You may see another one of these again soon (hopefully) and I can get a lot of work done come Winter Break.

I probably lost some readers with the wonky schedule, but I want to reiterate that this comic is still not dead and I just don't have a lot of time on my hands right now, like I did when this comic started.

And on that note, Unsober will is hitting it's first birthday this month (8 days to be exact), but don't expect anything special for that. I'm saving any good material for the 100th comic, so I've got a good few years to think of whatever that joke is going to be.

Also, I joined the Secret Santa guest comic thing, but I can't tell you where the guest comic will be until the 23rd. I'll link to it though, don't worry, you won't miss any of this fantastic comic-work.
