Good News

EDIT: I fixed Good News so it was a little easier to read. I typed it in bold instead of normal lettering, and now it looks a lot better.

Speaking of great news, I've got some about video games you should play.

By now, surely you've all at least heard of We <3 Katamari. But also surely, like me, many of you haven't played it. Well, let me reiterate many other people's reviews by telling you that the game essentially IS originality. The bright colors and almost LEGO-like characters make the game a joy to look at. The music complements the graphics and art style, ranging from slow and soothing, to fast and excited. However, although the tempo and mood changes, the actual style of the music is cool and quirky (if you will?) to again fit with the concept of the game. The control scheme is also "new", by utilizing both PS2 control sticks to swivel around and roll your katamari, you'll feel a lot better than playing any other game that has you button mashing. The two sticks together make the controls as smooth as the rest of the game on the screen. Everything fits together so perfectly to form this game. I haven't had THIS much fun on my PS2 since Kingdom Hearts (although they're two TOTALLY different games, mind you).

Also! I got Guitar Hero as well, and I can also say, it's the most fun I've had on my PS2 since Kingdom Hearts. The "DDR for your hands" is also put together flawlessly. The tunes range from Black Sabbath to Queens of the Stone Age and Sum 41 on the timeline, and ALL of them are fun to rock to. This game doesn't hold you back either; there isn't a song on the list that will get you "stuck" for more than a couple tries, you'll only really get "stuck" as you try to get perfect scores on each song (a great feat I'll add). It helps if you have some minor guitar experience, but you really just need to like the music itself to be good at it. If you're into rock, you owe it to yourself to at least try this game.

Hey, so that lyric thing was a bad idea. Let's stop that right away.
